Many people, rushing through life unaware of how much tension and stress they carry around with them, never breathe fully and correctly (Pranayama).
With dysfunctional breathing patterns and being unaware of them we can manifest tight chest muscles, constricted inefficient lung capacity, hunched shoulders, tension, stress, disease, disharmony (to name only a few of the obvious). Your vital force and flow is blocked in this state!
Apart from making you feel dull, lethargic and struggle throughout the day, shallow and constricted breathing can lead to health-related problems which are many and varied. Being with nature is inexpensive and can be very therapeutic putting life in a new perspective if we allow it.
Yoga can be accessed any time any where and what better place than the great outdoors!
Nature has a relaxing effect clearing the head and is associated with being well oxygenated. Both, therefore help to clear the mind of busy thoughts releasing tension and stress from the body giving a new perspective on life.
Pause for a moment and reflect on how you can spend time in nature on a daily basis, even if only for a few moments!
The benefits are far-reaching and ten fold and even better with yoga added into the mix of course!
